I assumed it was going to be some expensive monthly service or that she'd gotten magical non-destructive dogs.
Sarah told me that just eight months ago, she was exactly where I was—watching her couch get destroyed, constantly stressed, feeling like she had to choose between loving her dogs and having nice things.
"Then my mom told me about something called Couch Skins," she said.
"She'd been using them for her cats, and when I saw her furniture still looked brand new after three years, I figured I had to try something different."
She showed me photos on her phone: before Couch Skins, her couch looked like a war zone—visible claw marks, pulled threads, that sad, beaten-up look that screams "dog owners live here."
After? It looked custom-fitted and expensive, even with two 80-pound dogs using it as their personal playground.
"The crazy part is how much money these have saved me," she said, showing me more before-and-after pictures.
"My older dog Rex does the exact same anxiety scratching your Luna does, but now there's literally nothing for him to destroy. Same with the digging—they can go at it all they want, but my actual couch stays perfect."
